小編：環球教育整理 539雅思寫作的題型各不相同，當遇到題目中正反雙方都有理的情況時，有些“烤鴨”覺得力不從心，無從下手。
今天，我們將以2017年3月18日的寫作考題為例，提出在寫作中的“太極推手”寫作方法。
3月18日的考題如下：
Some people believe that children can learn effectively by watching TV and they should be encouraged to watch TV both at home and school. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
目前，媒體類的話題常常出現在雅思考題中。對于電視的接納程度的考題也多次在之前的題庫中出現，我認為：
一方面，我們需要承認電視確實對于兒童的教育起到積極的影響，有些節目確實可以寓教于樂，比如：
科教節目：educational programs
有啟發性：be inspiring; be motivating
智力測驗：quiz shows
畫面生動：pictures are vivid
容易吸引人：the contents are appealing
另一方面，我們不能忽視由于某些節目內容的不恰當性、兒童缺乏自我約束，分辨是非的能力以及教師或父母缺乏對其監管等問題，給兒童帶來的負面影響，包括不愿意花更多的時間讀書，不愿意獨立思考，更愿意被動接受一些思想等。
那么，我們可以用上下面的一些詞匯：
內容暴力色情：the media is filled with violence and pornography.
對兒童的身心健康有害：pose a threat to/ cause damage to the physical as well as mental fitness
得近視眼：get near-sighted
過度依賴媒體 be overly reliant on media to get information
不愿意獨立思考問題 be unwilling to think independently
減少了讀書的時間 the time spent on reading is reduced to a large extent
對……上癮： be addicted to ….
養成久坐的生活方式：form a sedentary lifestyle
所以，所謂“太極推手”即：先非常具有紳士風度地提出一方比較弱的觀點，或自己不太支持的觀點，具體闡述；然后，再有理有據地對此提出一些質疑，或相對的看法。
在雅思寫作中，烤鴨應該盡量減少使用語氣強烈的詞匯，如never、always、completely、not at all等。
相反，我們應當常常使用“紳士”詞匯，如：
Be likely to
Tend to
It would be possible for somebody to do…
最后，給“烤鴨”們一個大綱作為示范：
第一段：
第一句：背景---在這個信息發達的時代，電視毫無疑問成為很多小孩的休閑方式。
In current era of technology booming, television has, undoubtedly, become one of the main means /methods/ ways for children and teenagers to spend their leisure time.
第二句：個人觀點--我認為，盡管電視對兒童的學習有一定的好處，然而仍然需要限制兒童看電視的時間和內容。
From my perspective, while watching TV has a beneficial effect on children's study to some extent, they still need to be restricted to certain amounts of time and contents of TV watching.
第二段：當然，我們需要承認有些節目對兒童的學習效率有促進作用。
Admittedly, /What we have to admit is that there are some programs which are likely to promote children's study efficiency.
第三段：然而，我認為電視的優點被它的缺點超過。However/
Nevertheless/ Nonetheless, I would argue that the advantages of television are overweighed by its disadvantages.
或者也可以說：然而，我認為家長和老師應該限制兒童對電視的觀看。
Nevertheless /Nonetheless, I would argue that it is the responsibility of parents and school teachers to control this behavior.
第四段：總之，我認為兒童在年幼時期缺乏自制力和分辨能力，因此，父母和老師應該監管他們的學習和成長。
To sum up, both parents and teachers, in my opinion, are supposed to supervise the study and growth of children by making a schedule and selecting the right contents of TV programs, due to the fact that these youngsters lack self-control as well as discerning ability.
