　　雅思聽力考試中，聽前讀題時(shí)間對(duì)考試成功與否往往起著至關(guān)重要的作用。如何才能最有效利用這有限的時(shí)間做出合理的預(yù)測(cè)？

　　筆者在反復(fù)的雅思教學(xué)中摸索出一種不錯(cuò)的解決辦法——逆向思維解題法（“反其道而思之”），發(fā)散性逆向思考已知信息，確定所提問(wèn)題的答案的必要條件，推測(cè)說(shuō)話人會(huì)提及的兩種或多種可能性，從而有效避免“先入為主”型錯(cuò)誤，排除混淆信息，縮小選擇范圍或直接鎖定正確答案。

　　本文將會(huì)從劍橋真題4--‐8 中選取典型實(shí)例，全面展示逆向思維解題法在時(shí)間、條件、數(shù)量、關(guān)聯(lián)詞等限定詞方面的具體應(yīng)用。

　　1.時(shí)間

　　① Cambridge 4 Test 3 Section 1

　　Q3 Present course ________ English

　　解決填空題除推測(cè)所填詞的詞性和詞類外，還應(yīng)意識(shí)到潛在的含義，預(yù)知說(shuō)話人將會(huì)提及的相關(guān)信息。一般，同學(xué)們都能推測(cè)出所填詞應(yīng)為形容詞，而且因?yàn)槭莄ourse“課程”所以還得考慮大寫的問(wèn)題，但卻往往會(huì)忽略present。既然題目不僅僅是問(wèn)course，那present就有存在的意義和目的。順著這個(gè)思路就應(yīng)想到說(shuō)話人會(huì)提到past或是future，形成時(shí)間上的對(duì)立性。

　　原文：I was studying General English in Adelaide and now I’m doing Academic English…

　　② Cambridge 4 Test 3 Section 2

　　Q11 When is this year’s festival being held?

　　做選擇題關(guān)鍵是得找對(duì)關(guān)鍵詞。這個(gè)單選題中的關(guān)鍵詞是……when?可三個(gè)選項(xiàng)都是時(shí)間。Festival?可它是整篇報(bào)道的中心。Being held?太抽象，不是明確信息。確立this year為關(guān)鍵詞的理由很明確，既然是要確定今年的舉辦的時(shí)間，那錄音中必定會(huì)提及去年或是以前的情況，這樣的逆向思維讓解題思路更加清楚。

　　原文：… for the last couple of years it’s been around the fifth to seventeenth, but this year … they’ve put it at the end of the month.

　　對(duì)于選項(xiàng)多達(dá)七個(gè)的多項(xiàng)選擇題很多同學(xué)往往會(huì)不知所措，因?yàn)橐话闱闆r下這些選項(xiàng)在錄音中都會(huì)被提及，于是排除法成為首選，但以什么為排除的依據(jù)呢?“at present”為解題給出了提示，凡是過(guò)去或是將來(lái)才能去的景點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目就可以排除。逆向思維的應(yīng)用巧妙排除了混淆信息，縮小選擇范圍。

　　這兩題括號(hào)中的限定條件是逆向思維的可能性和必要性。Q3的括號(hào)里明確指出 “沒(méi)有學(xué)生證”，其隱含意思就是學(xué)生入會(huì)的年費(fèi)的收費(fèi)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)不一樣;Q4 的括號(hào)里也有備注“普通民眾”，意味著學(xué)生能借書的數(shù)額會(huì)被提及。其實(shí)，還可以再往前走一步。“沒(méi)有學(xué)生證”的人入會(huì)的費(fèi)用肯定高，而“普通民眾”可借書的數(shù)額通常小。于是，這兩題就被簡(jiǎn)化成Q3大數(shù)、Q4小數(shù)。

　　Qs 5-6 Which TWO things are included in the price of the tour?

　　選項(xiàng)為簡(jiǎn)單短語(yǔ)的多選題的所有選項(xiàng)在錄音中通常都會(huì)被提及，排除法雖繁瑣但卻是最有效的方法。但問(wèn)題是題目中并沒(méi)有明確的排除條件信息。逆向思維為解題提供隱性的排除條件——所有要自己花錢的項(xiàng)目都可以排除。

　　題目中的關(guān)鍵詞鎖定為average，所給的三個(gè)選項(xiàng)又存在一定的相似性，這些都表明這題聽到的對(duì)應(yīng)信息不是單一的，必須果斷排除混淆信息，而總量與均量的對(duì)立成為判斷的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

　　4.關(guān)聯(lián)詞

　　其實(shí)，有些題的題目中并沒(méi)有明顯的或是隱藏的能運(yùn)用逆向思維的條件，但在聽力錄音中卻有，往往是通過(guò)某些關(guān)聯(lián)詞實(shí)現(xiàn)。一般說(shuō)來(lái)，如果選擇題中的兩個(gè)選項(xiàng)先后都有聽到，且存在并列或選擇關(guān)系，則兩項(xiàng)都排除。

　　① Cambridge 4 Test 3 Section 2

　　Q14 Where does Circus Romano perform?

　　A in a theatre

　　B in a tent

　　C in a stadium

　　原文：It … performing in a marquee … rather than just in a theatre or stadium.

　　聽力原文中給出的直接信息是Romano馬戲團(tuán)在marquee中演出，但極少有同學(xué)知道這個(gè)單詞的意思。Speaker 隨后提到演出地點(diǎn)rather than“而不是”theater 或是 stadium，也就是說(shuō)劇場(chǎng)和體育館都應(yīng)該被排除，反過(guò)來(lái)說(shuō)，就能確定正確答案應(yīng)為B，也就明白marquee是tent之意。

　　② Cambridge 8 Test1 Section 2

　　Qs 19-20 Which TWO activities can students do after the tour at present?

　　A built model dinosaurs

　　B watch films

　　C draw dinosaurs

　　原文：… more interactive things like making models of dinosaurs and drawing and painting pictures, even hunting for dinosaur eggs …that’s closed at the moment.

　　該多選題中選項(xiàng)A、C和D在聽力原文中都被提及，并列連詞and、even表面三者之間存在并列關(guān)系，屬于“同進(jìn)同出”范疇，要么同時(shí)被選，要么同時(shí)被排除。而根據(jù)后面的時(shí)間條件that’s closed at the moment，確定這三項(xiàng)活動(dòng)目前都不能進(jìn)行，進(jìn)而排除。

　　綜上所述，雅思考試聽前讀題時(shí)應(yīng)用心發(fā)現(xiàn)題目中明顯的或隱含的時(shí)間、條件、數(shù)量、關(guān)聯(lián)詞等限定信息，運(yùn)用逆向思維合理預(yù)測(cè)說(shuō)話人可能提及的相關(guān)信息的多種可能性，有效避免混淆信息的影響，從而實(shí)現(xiàn)信息的準(zhǔn)確把握。

　　筆者認(rèn)為，雅思聽力的思考方式和解題方式必須擺脫某些現(xiàn)有模式或固有套路的限制，在教學(xué)中鼓勵(lì)和激發(fā)學(xué)生從新的視角審視、思考問(wèn)題，切不能在題海中忘記了雅思考試的初衷。
