1.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Having a relaxed or unhurried lifestyle is the most important for a person.
I disagree with the statement that the relaxed and unhurried lifestyle is the most important for a person. First of all, it is hard to define what the most important thing is in a person’s life, because different people have different situation. For example, some people have to struggle to make money to support family. So for them, it’s unavailable to live a relaxed life. Secondly, I am a person who is ambitious for some dreams; however, a relaxed and unhurried lifestyle won’t help me to make them come true. Finally, some people like exciting and passionate lifestyle. So a relaxed and unhurried lifestyle will make them feel uncomfortable.
2.What do you do to keep yourself healthy? Explain how it helped you. Please include reasons and details in you explanation.
I'd like to talk about basketball. There are some reasons for my like. Firstly, it's a good game to burn my calorie. Take myself for example. I was almost 200 pounds last year and when I realized I had to lose weight, I started to play basketball. After a year, I've lost over 70 pounds. What a nice hit! Moreover, it's a game to make friends. Basketball, as is known to all, is a game requires a good sense of teamwork and cooperation. So it is the case with my partner Tim and me. We cooperate well in the game, so we become friends. And the deeper the friendship is, the better we cooperate.
3.Describe your least liked music. Please explain the reason.
Well, I believe all types of music are enjoyable, however, I would mention Hip Pop to be the lowest of my ranking. For me, a graceful piece of music should contain either the beautiful lyrics or the sounding rhythms. But the first time I listened to Hip Pop in a mini concert, I felt like being abandoned on a noisy island. I barely heard anything clear but dozens of words floating in the air. I could not concentrate on the lyrics to understand the songwriter’s thoughts, not to mention having any responsive chord deep in my heart. Though Hip Pop has kind of magic power to make everyone move, it is still hard to touch me in most of the cases.
4.What are the advantages of further education abroad? Please give your answer with specific examples and details.
Furthering one’s education in a foreign country generates a number of benefits, which is why it has become a growing trend. First of all, it offers a unique opportunity for students to achieve their independence and allow them to develop some survival skills. Many students become much more independent after they come back from studying abroad. Secondly, using a second language to acquire knowledge and skills is a tremendously valuable learning experience for students. Finally, in their spare time, students can go outside the classroom and take part in a wide range of social, sports and recreational activities, for the purpose of broadening their horizons.
